The Orange County Family Violence Conference invites advocates, service providers, law enforcement, judicial officers and court staff, attorneys, social workers, therapists, and community partners the opportunity to dive deeper into the pressing topics of Family Violence, Human Trafficking, Gun Violence, Domestic Violence Fatalities, Spiritual Abuse, Survivor Immigration Rights, LGBTQIA+ Considerations, and much more.

“What’s trauma got to do with it? Understanding trauma and its role in family violence”
Dr. Shauntina Sorrells DSW MSW is the Chief Program Officer at Orangewood Foundation. Shauntina has worked with families, youth in foster care, individuals in crisis, and organizations seeking innovation and change. Her expertise is in programs that provide community based programming to change the social norms that challenge systemic issues facing underserved populations.

Each attendee must pre-register for one of the following Afternoon Breakout Tracks (Track A, B, or C), each Track has 2 Sessions, can’t pick and choose, but all will be recorded later:
