Every October, we recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). Domestic violence is not a private matter or when “a man has a little fight with the wife…” It is a profound community issue that affects people across all backgrounds, and it calls for our collective attention, compassion, and action.

At Radiant Futures, we believe that every person deserves to live free from fear, harm, and control. When abuse is minimized or dismissed, survivors are left without the support they need, and cycles of harm are allowed to continue. DVAM challenges us all to speak the truth about the impact of domestic violence and to stand with survivors.

Throughout this month, I invite you to join Radiant Futures in deepening awareness, amplifying the voices of survivors, and promoting prevention.
