Dear Friends,

For 50 years, Radiant Futures has been driven by one enduring purpose: safety.

Orange County’s first domestic violence shelter has grown into a full continuum of care, spanning emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, personal empowerment programs, and now, permanent housing for survivors through our new ADU project.

This September, as we share in “50 Years of Safety,” we reflect on what safety truly means. It looks different for every survivor we serve, and it is never something we hand someone. We build it together, one choice, one step at a time. That belief guides every stage of our growth, and it continues to guide us today.

Safety includes prevention. Join us for Healthy Relationships 101, where we invite parents and teens (12 to 17 years) to learn about Green Flags, a free workshop on recognizing healthy relationships and warning signs early, before they escalate. It’s a small conversation that can make a lasting difference in a young person’s life.

I want to invite you to see that work firsthand.

Join us for an Open House at our Fullerton campus on Wednesday, September 30, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. You can tour our facility, meet our staff and advocates, and learn more about the programs that have supported survivors and their families for five decades.

This gathering also marks an important moment for us. As September closes, we turn toward October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to renew our community’s commitment to standing with survivors, always.

Whether you are a longtime supporter, a community partner, or someone learning about our work for the first time, we are honored to have you with us.

We look forward to welcoming you.

In Gratitude,

Mark
