Next week as we celebrate the ratification of the Declaration of Independence, let us also celebrate the newfound independence of our survivors. No two survivor’s stories are the same. Every survivor’s experience is unique, and so is their journey to recovery.

At Radiant Futures, we offer a range of choices to allow survivors to tailor their recovery process to their specific needs and preferences. Some may find solace in therapy; others might prefer support groups, legal assistance, or a combination of resources. Respecting individual choice ensures that survivors can pursue the path that feels right for them, increasing the likelihood of a successful and sustained recovery.

Empowering survivors to make their own decisions has long-term benefits that extend beyond immediate recovery. It fosters a sense of independence and resilience that can help them navigate future challenges. Empowered survivors are more likely to advocate for themselves and others, and potentially break the cycle of violence.
